New Jetty on the Thames

TPS working as Development and Project Manager with Hadley Property Group and the project team led by White Arkitekter, secured Unanimous Approval for the new Blackwall Yard Thames Riverboat Station in Tower Hamlets.

The new riverboat pier enriches the neighbourhood’s public realm, framing spectacular views of the city and river, while significantly boosting biodiversity on site. A key consideration of the scheme was to repair the Thames River Path – our proposal puts this back into use after being closed to the public for over thirty years. The project introduces a new, low cost, north south cross-river connection provided by the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers service boosting sustainable transport links and helping to attract visitors to this emerging destination, while connecting Blackwall Yard to the surrounding city.
