TPS has worked with Hadley Property Group as Development and Project manager from the inception of this scheme, assisting in the initial pre-acquisition through to the Delighted to the unanimous approval of the Blackwall Yard scheme at Tower Hamlet’s Strategic Development Committee.
The proposals by Hadley Property Group will see the construction of 5 new buildings up to 39 storeys, delivering 898 new residential units (including 35% affordable housing) alongside a two-form entry primary school, community hub, retail and commercial spaces and new public spaces, including the remodelling of the Grade II listed Graving Dock (complete with outdoor swimming!)
Blackwall Yard has received unanimous planning approval from Tower Hamlets council! The 898-home mixed use district shapes a place where none existed before.
Blackwall Yard creates an essential link between existing communities and the riverside, while taking the opportunity to bring the historic listed graving dock back into public use as part of a vibrant new waterfront destination for East London.
